h-hi ovo thank you for all of the favorites!
Oh woah wait hold up. No. Thank YOU for writing Pedestal. Like, wow. I'd found it on fanfiction net a couple of days ago (really late to the party. Damn.) and just finished it yesterday, holed up in my room the entire time.

At first I wasn't really into it (I mean, 'Oh look. Another kid goes on a pokemon adventure. Sure, why not?' was what I was thinking at the beginning), but then came the other (human) characters, like Nick and Hanna, and I was drawn to their interactions with Zach (I was hoping he was a dude the entire time, but was expecting him to be a girl. I was pleasantly surprised my hopes were true), because character interactions are the basis of any story (in my opinion, at least). Also, I sooorta shipped him (really hard) with Nick (Note that this was when I STILL had no clue whether Zach was a he or a she. But I didn't care; they were cute dammit).

Then came the ghosts and the warning about the future (not to mention Lassie's continuous harassment) and I became further engrossed (and slightly frustrated) in it all, thinking 'Are they talking about Nick? My God, they're talking about Nick. Nick's gonna go mad. No. I refuse. Don't you dare. NO.' and similar thoughts of (totally warranted - I liked happy Nick, Nick in general, but now just thinking about him hurts) denial.

And finally everything went downhill from there. Man, was I glad I was alone in my room over the course of reading this fic. I was a mess, continously assaulted by feels. Everything Zach had to go through was so vivid in my mind - I felt happy when he was with his (remaining) friends, scared when he had to deal with 'the tournament' and the siege of Sunnyshore, and freaking bawling whenever anybody (pokemon or human) he cared about died (especially when Nick died, dammit).

In all honesty, Pedestal was the greatest pokemon fic I've read, and I'm so glad I got to read it. So again - Thank YOU for this amazing story.

(Wow, I'm such a loser. Sorry this is so long XP)
:icongrillfaceplz:

i-i'm so glad you liked it so much! i'm proud of my character writing and their interactions, so it's very gratifying to hear that you liked that part! ;u;

(and gosh don't apologize for it being long i'm just sorry for my short reply i just don't want it to be nine paragraphs of "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK"! i really do appreciate that you took the time to type all that out to me, and that you enjoyed the story!)
